October 5, 2024 – Hudson, Ny, Firemans Fighter Museum

After leaving West Point, Milton, Ny area, we head north on the Hudson river through the Catskill mountain range.  Destination Catskill point, Catskill, Ny.  Then early morning bus ride to Hudson, Ny to visit the worlds largest Fire Fighters Museum, managed by the Fireman’s Association of New York.  Impressive !!  No Pierce Trucks as focus is on New York area.  Anyway, a fun tour.

River ride pretty, but so far a little to early for full color.  Albany next stop, our furthest point north.  Hopefully more color to come. Crossing under the “Rip Van Winkle” Bridge. I’m sure a story there.

A little note about our ship.  It is brand new, so everything is very nice.  American Liberty only 100 guests prox.  Lots of personal service with table service dinning,  Very generous open bar service no charge.
