October6, 2024 – Troy, Ny / Saratoga Springs

Our next mooring port was Troy, Ny.  After a lovely dinning evening and comic entertainment, we rose bright and early for a bus trip to Saratoga Springs.  A very lovely community, most noted for its Horse Race Track and Horse Racing Museum.   Wow!!  I had no idea.  Spectacular presentation of one of the oldest sports in America.  Looking at the history of Man of War, Secretariat, Etc.  A wonderful video presentation in a full hall surround atmosphere.  Very well done.  Afterwards, time to browse the museum.  A treat.

Our bus driver then gave us some free time in downtown Saratoga Springs.  National park area here as well.  A very nice day.

Fall colors still a little early, but still a treat.  Tomorrow we head to Kingston / Hyde park area.  Maritime Museum world.
