Chattanooga, TN Sept 23, 2025

Last Day, disembarkation tomorrow. After breakfast scheduled to tour the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. Included a one hour train ride to East Chattanooga. Conductor narrated the tour. Again, lots of history. Tour included Engine “Turn Table” system, and a tour of the “Back Repair Shop”. Also, we traveled thru a 963 ft. tunnel built by hand, ie; pic axe and shovel, starting at each end and meeting in the middle with in 3 inches of “perfect”. Special dinner tonight, Surf and Turf, Lobster and Steak.
